Wind
Travels gently through the orchard leaves
Breathing
In slow motion through the air
Some are detaching, some remain
Some were gone and have never been seen again
Tears
Falling quietly when there’s no one around
Here we stand gazing forward with no sound
Leaves are sailing through the air
Without care for the roots beneath the ground
Once when time stood still
In the paintings on the walls
With clothes that once were new
We smiled and laughed about the things we only thought we knew
Here’s
To those before us who once roamed this land
With
All the joy and fears they had
Now all is drifting through the air
Blown away, whispering softly
Yet we can never hear
Once when time stood still
In the paintings on the walls
With clothes that once were new
We smiled and laughed about the things we only thought we knew
